Drugs and vehicle seizure

Good Morning 

Here is a little update to let you all know what your Over Hulton and Middle Hulton neighbourhood team have been up to over the last couple of days. 

On the evening of the 28th January PC Morris and PC Chadwick were on patrol on Back St Helen's Road when a male ran away after seeing their police car. PC Morris chased the male and eventually caught him. He was detained and the area were he ran out from was searched. When searching the area a large quantity of nitrous oxide was discovered along with 100s of packets of illegal cigarettes. The male was arrested for possession with intent to supply class c and was bailed for further enquiries. 

Over the last couple of days there has been numerous reports of a Nissan Micra being driven round the area by what it appears to be young teenagers. Several members of the public have reported their concern with the vehicle. After searching high and low for the vehicle PCSO Harrison and PCSO Ratcliffe have located the vehicle abandoned. The vehicle was seized with the help of the Great Lever neighbourhood team, putting and end to it's joy riding days.
