Anti‑Social Behaviour at Turn Moss

Good evening, 

As part of our ongoing work to tackle anti‑social behaviour, officers regularly patrol the Turn Moss playing fields to keep the area safe and identify any issues early.

During our patrol this evening, Trafford North Neighbourhood officers located a vehicle parked in the corner of the car park. Upon the vehicle being searched, 22 nitrous oxide large canisters were seized. 

As a reminder, nitrous oxide was classified as a Class C drug on 8 November 2023 under the Misuse of Drugs Act 1971, meaning possession for recreational use is illegal, and the supply, production, import, and export for recreational use remains illegal. 

We want to reassure residents that we will continue to maintain a strong presence in the area, taking robust action whenever illegal activity or anti‑social behaviour is identified.
