Update from Moseley and Kings Heath neighbourhood policing team

Dear Resident,

Here’s a quick round up from myself and the rest of the Moseley and Kings Heath neighbourhood policing team.

What’s been happening?

Weve had a productive week across Kings Heath and Moseley!

Officers and partners have been working together to keep our neighbourhoods safe.

Streetwatch – our local volunteers have been out on high visibility foot patrols helping to give an extra set of eyes and ears in the area. Thank you to all who have continued to support us with Streetwatch.

Vehicle seizure – one vehicle was seized locally after community intelligence that revealed it had no tax, MOT, or insurance. This helps keep our roads safe and ensure drivers meet legal requirements.

ASB patrols – we’ve carried out targeted patrols around Kings Heath and Moseley in response to ongoing anti-social behaviour, we are always engaging directly with the community and helping to offer support in the area.

Joint parking operation – working alongside Birmingham City Council on joint parking operations this week, to address problem parking and improve safety and accessibility for all road users/pedestrians.

Retail partnership meeting – we attended a joint retail meeting with local businesses and Kings Heath BID, to tackle concerns and keep the community safe.

Our upcoming events

Community Drop-in: PCSOs will be at Coffee #1 in Moseley on Tuesday 10th February between 11am – 1pm

Finally, we have published our 2026 dates for the local community drop-in sessions on the West Midlands Police Website.
