Links Way Foot Patrols

Earlier today Saturday 31st January, PCSO Usher was on on hi vis foot patrols on Links Way, when seen was a flat bed van and 3 males wearing hi vis jackets, who opened up a padlock on a building site on Links Way, then drove their vehicle in and closed the gates behind them.

Unsure of their genuine presence to be there, PCSO Usher thought it best to call the owner and site manager to verify their authenticity. 

The builders did turn out to be genuinely there to carry out building works, and due to past site break ins in the local area, it was best practise for us to confirm this.

Our foot patrols in that area served a purpose and glad this all checked out as it should have.
