Donington Driver – A Lesson in How Not to Drive |

While out on patrol last night in an unmarked police vehicle, officers from the #ValleyBeatTeam noticed a driver behind us who seemed determined to climb into our boot.
Not satisfied with tailgating, the driver then decided to flash their headlights in an attempt to make us exceed the speed limit.
When that didn’t work, they overtook us on a blind bend and sped off into the distance.
Unfortunately for them, their high-speed journey ended shortly after… at their workplace.
Imagine their surprise when two uniformed officers pulled up behind and stepped out for a chat
And the excuse?
“I was late for work.”
Needless to say, the driver was reported for their truly outstanding display of unsafe driving.
Road safety isn’t optional. Arrive late — not dangerously.
