Helping stranded motorists

In addition to police enforcement, your local officer was on hand to help vulnerable members of the public yesterday, (Friday 30 January). 

During the current wet weather, he assisted a stranded couple whose car had become stuck in a ditch and surrounded by flood water.

The couple were supported until the situation was resolved.
