🌟 ASB and Damage to Outdoor Equipment in Credenhill

Hello residents,

As your Safer Neighbourhood Team, we’d like to share an important notice to residents of Credenhill and the surrounding area.

Recently, groups of young people have been gathering in the garden/outdoor space of the Life & Soul Kitchen. Sadly, this has led to antisocial behaviour and damage to outdoor equipment. This space is a valued community asset and it’s important to keep it safe, welcoming, and in good condition for everyone.🌿

This kind of behaviour is not acceptable and is taken very seriously by your local police team. We are increasing patrols in the area and will continue to monitor the situation closely. Where we identify offences, we may take appropriate action.

A reminder on the law and consequences (including under‑18s):
Damaging someone else’s property is a criminal offence. Outcomes for young people can range from community resolutions (such as repairing harm, apologising, or paying compensation) to getting a criminal record. ⚖️

The Life & Soul Kitchen plays an important part in our community, supporting adults with disabilities. This kind of reckless behaviour creates unfair and harmful financial pressure on the café, which exists to serve the community. 💛

We ask that parents and carers (especially patrons of the social club) do not allow children to use the outdoor equipment that belongs to the café. No one should be in that outdoor area outside of the café’s opening hours. Your support in reinforcing this message at home makes a real difference.
