Local Priorities Drug dealing/ drug use Update

I wanted to provide an update regarding drug dealing / drug use, which some members around this area have highlighted as an issue of concern on the Met Engage priority survey.

Just a quick message for those interested in drugs in their local area. Whilst on patrol, Longlands SNT have stopped and searched a member of the public on Main Road under section 23 MDA. This person was found with Class B drugs in their possession. As this is the first time they are known to police, a community resolution has been issued. They are now on the police system and if caught again more legal action will be taken with this person.
