🚨🌊 You’ll See Us. You’ll Hear Us. But There’s No Cause for Concern. 🌊🚨 Between 5pm and 9pm on Tuesday 19 May, you may notice a large emergency service presence across the Mablethorpe coastline. This is a major joint training exercise part of Operation Atlantis and the Atlantis Alliance. Tonight's exercise involves - As we head into the busy summer season, our teams are coming together to train, test and strengthen how we respond to coastal emergencies. ✔️ Realistic scenarios 🔹 This is a planned exercise Exercises like this ensure that when real incidents happen, our emergency services are ready to act fast, together, and effectively. A spokesperson from Lincolnshire Police, said: “Tonight's training is about making sure that all agencies who protect our coastline are fully prepared to work together when it matters most. These exercises allow us to test our joint response, strengthen communication, and ensure we are operationally ready as we head into the busy summer period. While people may see a significant emergency service presence, this is a planned training exercise and there is no cause for concern. It also highlights the fantastic work carried out by our officers, partners, and volunteers who work tirelessly to keep the public safe.” Thank you for your understanding and for supporting the people who work and volunteer to keep our coastline safe.
