Dear Residents Of Holland,

On Thursday 29th January, Your local Safer Neighbourhood Team Officers issued a Community Protection Warning to a community interest company imposing to be a charity , Who are usually in Holland Park Avenue W11. There were a variety of reports made from residents and businesses due to unprofessional behaviour by the fundraisers. 

A Community Protection Warning is a written warning, which is issued by an officer or a council officer to individuals or businesses causing persistent, unreasonable and detrimental anti social behaviour in a local area. It serves as a final warning to stop the behaviour before a legal community protection notice is issued, The breach of a community protection notice becomes a criminal offence which can most often lead to an arrest.

I would like to remind everyone to be cautious when donating to charities, as they can often be illegitimate, Before you do decide to give, take a moment to verify the organisation, check official websites, registered charity numbers, and please be wary of any pressure to donate immediately, if something does not feel right, please do trust your instincts and verify first. Your kindness should fund those in need, not criminals.
