Greetings from your New Local Bobby |
||
Dear Resident
I am pleased to introduce myself as your new local officer. It is an honour and a pleasure to be serving you in Hemel Hempstead South.
My name is Simon Jackman, Warrant Number 6410 and I am a Supervisor of Police Community Police Officers in your ward. I have a strong team and I hope that we can engage with you, providing reassurance and visibility in an effort to prevent crime and make you feel safer.
The Neighbourhood Policing Team is also here to work with the community to address your local priorities. While our intervention teams respond to 999 calls and our Local Crime Unit detectives handle investigations, the Neighbourhood Team work in addition to these teams to provide this dedicated support to the community.
Every four months, we ask the public for feedback through our Priority Setting Survey. This survey allows us to gather your feedback and establish three priorities for your local area. The results of the survey are reviewed by local officers like me to understand how the community feels. Thank you again for responding - you should have had an email showing what NPT has done for the previous priorities, and the new ones chosen by you and our plans to tackle them.
If you see me out and about, please do not hesitate to say hello. One of the most important parts of my job is to speak to local people, and businesses. While we chat we may learn of incidents that can form part of our intelligence, but if you haven't anything, it doesn't matter, as just by greeting each other is an important part of my police community work. I look forward to seeing while I am out and about
Kind regards Simon
