Local Priorities Dangerous driving / speeding Message

I wanted to provide you with an update regarding dangerous driving and speeding, which some members around this area have highlighted as an issue of concern on the Met Engage priority survey.

This afternoon local NPT officers were on routine patrols in HERTFORD ROAD j/w unity road when the stopped a vehicle due to its driver's poor driving. Following police checks, vehicle was seized for no insurance and driver was processed for driving without valid insurance and accordance to licence. We will continue to work hard and improve the road safety for our communities.

If someone is driving a motor vehicle, they should always be doing so in a safe and considerate manner. Even momentary lapses in judgement can have life changing or devastating consequences for those in the vehicle or innocent bystanders.
