We’ve been in your area

We’ve been carrying out targeted patrols during school pick up times in your area numerous times over the last week. Thank you to the members of the community we spoke to. 

It is clear there is an issue with parking around the school at drop-off and pick-up times. I ask anyone who parks in the area when taking children to school to do so considerately and to avoid blocking junctions or causing obstruction.

Parking within a certain distance of a junction is an offence and I have noted this occurring at the triangular junction of Rugby Road, Main Street and North Road. In the first instance I have been offering words of advice, however, should the problem persist, a Traffic Offence Report (TOR) may be issued.
