Morning Resident
Hope your well.
West Midlands Police uses the WMnow alert system to send direct messages about criminal gangs, often in partnership with the independent charity Crimestoppers. Sample: Criminal Gangs Alert Ways to Report Gang Activity Crimestoppers: Call 0800 555 111 or use the Crimestoppers Anonymous Online Form. Reporting is 100% anonymous; they do not track IP addresses or record calls. Fearless: A youth-specific service of Crimestoppers for people aged 11–17 to report crime anonymously. West Midlands Police (Direct): Use the WMP Live Chat for non-emergencies or call 101. Emergencies: Always call 999 if a crime is in progress or there is an immediate danger to life. Common Signs of Local Gang Activity Messages often urge residents to look for the following red flags: Drug Dealing: Suspected dealing in the neighbourhood or "County Lines" activity where outsiders move in to run drugs. Cuckooing: Vulnerable people being exploited by gangs who take over their home to use as a base for criminal activity. Unusual Activity: Frequent visitors to a property at odd hours or vehicles with folding mirrors left "out," which can signal an unlocked car being scouted by gangs.
Thank you from your Wednesfield & Heath Town Neighbourhood Team.
