Anti social behaviour / dangerous driving

Police have noticed an increase in vehicles parking across the entrance to OLD TOWN STREET on ST ANDREWS CROSS ROUNDABOUT. There are double yellow lines as well as double yellow kerb lines in this area. This means that there is no permitted parking by anyone at any time or any unloading. There have been numerous people reversing out into the live lanes of the roundabout putting lives at risk.

The entrance although gated is used by emergency services as well as contractors, parking across this access stops emergency services from responding to incidents swiftly in the City Centre.

Civil enforcement officers have been made aware of this issue and will be stepping up patrols in the area.

Please do your part in keeping everyone safe whilst in the city centre and park in the many signed car parks.
