After assisting with a mental health assessment first thing, Lee headed out with Rick this afternoon for anti-social behaviour (ASB) patrols around Barking and Dagenham College (4.14 miles). Hotspots, including Harveys Lane (1.12pm, p) via Valentines Way, the Dagenham Road flats (1.20pm, p) and the Thorntons Farm Avenue alley were visited, along with a check on the Co-op.
In Fourth Avenue (1.15pm), 4 college students were spoken to and moved on from the small car park area behind the shops (p). The area has seen increased reports of ASB, including drug use and littering, in recent months.
There was a return-visit to Harveys Lane, before passing through Eastbrook Drive.
Earlier in the day, former Eastbrook officer, Tom, was out in Rush Green and issued a student with a cannabis warning for possession of the Class B drug opposite the college.
