Incident - Hamlet Road

At around 22:00hrs on Monday, 26 January, officers were called to a flat in Hamlet Road, Crystal Palace, following reports of a shooting.

It is believed a resident at the property - a man aged in his 20s - was assaulted and threatened by three men, who produced a firearm.

Another man, also aged in his 20s, subsequently attended the flat, and was shot. The group then fled the scene in a car.

Both victims were taken to hospital. The man who was shot sustained life-changing injuries, while the other victim's injuries have been assessed as neither life-changing nor life-threatening.

Enquiries are ongoing, and a scene is in place in Hamlet Road. No arrests have been made.
