Following recent negative comments regarding our parking enforcement activity, we want to remind everyone why these actions take place.
We continue to receive numerous complaints about vehicles blocking pavements. When pavements are obstructed, it affects the safety and independence of all members of our community, including:
• ♿ Mobility scooter users
• 👶 People with prams or pushchairs
• 🚶 Pedestrians
• 🧑🦯 Those who are partially sighted or visually impaired
Pavements are there to keep people safe. By ensuring they are kept clear, we can help everyone move around our community with confidence and without unnecessary risk.
