|
Do you know an incredible young person who deserves to be celebrated? Then there’s still time to nominate them for a prestigious police awards scheme. We officially launched our Nxt Gen Awards on 1 January, which are open to anyone aged between nine and 18 who lives or goes to school in Nottinghamshire. Our officers want to hear about the incredible achievements of as many boys and girls as possible from across the city and county. The awards shine a spotlight on any young person who has made an exceptional contribution to their community through a variety of categories, including artistic talent, leadership, or those who have overcome adversity. So far, dozens of nomination forms have been completed, and parents, guardians, youth workers, teachers, coaches, club leaders, carers, and professionals are being urged to submit even more examples of outstanding youngsters. The straightforward form only takes minutes to complete, with each nominee in the running to be crowned winner or runner-up and receive a selection of awards and other prizes in recognition of their hard work. 👉 Nxt Gen Awards Nomination Form 2026

He said: “We’re excited to celebrate the incredible achievements of young people across Nottinghamshire at our Nxt Gen Awards – but we can’t do this without your help. “Each year we’re inspired by the talent, resilience, and positive impact shown in the nominations we receive, and it’s always difficult to shortlist such outstanding young people. “At Nottinghamshire Police, we’re proud to champion the next generation and give them a platform to share their stories. “If you know a young person doing something brilliant, don’t keep it quiet – nominate them now.” | ||
