18 weeks imprisonment for a prolific shoplifter

A shoplifter who stole from Next, Dunelm and Holland and Barrett at Westfield Shopping Centre multiple times over a month long period was arrested, charged and remanded by the Westfield Policing Team on the 18th January 2026.

Working with the retailers, the Policing Team secured the necessary evidence that ultimately led the offender to plead guilty at court. He was handed an 18 weeks custodial sentence.
