Here’s a quick round up from me and the rest of the Hall Green neighbourhood policing team.

❓ What's been happening ❓

Fly-Tipping. We have been out again with BCC Waste Enforcement seizing vehicles involved in fly-tipping across the ward. We are committed to working in partnership to tackle this issue which has a negative effect on residents.

Warrant. We have executed a warrant this week in relation to the illegal sale of nitrous oxide following your intelligence. We will continue to act on intelligence you provide so please contact us with any relevant information.

Targeted Patrols. We have been targeting locations which have been identified as hotspots for ASB and drug use, particularly during the evenings. If you are experiencing issues in your street, then please contact us.

Hall Green PCSO Crime Prevention Drop-in - Monday 9th February 11am - 1pm - Highfield Hall

Springfield PCSO Crime Prevention Drop-in - Thursday 19th February 3:00pm - 4:00pm - The Shires, 218 Wake Green Rd, B13 9PQ

✅ Crime Prevention Tips for the darker nights

❗Vehicle crime is a continued priority on the ward❗

Most crime is opportunistic, and offenders are looking for the quickest, easiest target. Please take a few seconds to double checks your security routines.

Ensure your vehicle is locked with no valuables left on display – even a jacket or loose change can tempt a thief. Utilise extra security measures such as steering wheel locks..
