🚓 Proactive policing and positive results 🚓

While on duty, officers identified a moped being ridden suspiciously on the pavement. When the rider attempted to make off, officers acted swiftly, resulting in the rider being detained and arrested. The moped was later confirmed stolen and was returned to its owner within 8 hours of being taken.

Officers also carried out stop and searches on three males, who were found to be in possession of cannabis. This was dealt with by way of community resolution. In addition, one male was found to be breaching his electronic tag conditions and was promptly arrested and taken into custody.
