*** THIS WEEK IN SIX *** Over the past few days, your local police have: Arrested a male from Bentley Bridge who was showing outstanding for shoplifting. He was later charged and will appear in court. Attended City of Wolverhampton College open day, alongside colleagues from Roads Policing, Drone Unit, City Centre Team and our Offender Management departments.Arrested two males in Wednesfield for breaching Community Protection Notices. One was also arrested for Possession with Intent to Supply Class A drugs after being found with a quantity of powder. Both have since been charged. Liaised with RSPCA regarding welfare concerns of an injured dog. The dog is now in the care of the RSPCA, who are caring for it and looking after it for the foreseeable future. Supported our colleagues in Staffordshire Police with a vehicle recovered in Wednesfield, which was believed to be involved in an offence. Whilst there, we also discovered a further stolen vehicle, which was seized!Continued our ongoing patrols at Crossways Shopping Centre and surrounding areas in Heath Town, in response to reports of antisocial behaviour. Arrested a male following a domestic incident. Attended and managed a disorder starting on Bentley Bridge and continuing onto Wednesfield High Street. Involved parties were identified and suitably dealt with.
