Good Morning Resident Team reminder to all our subscribers.. As of January 2026, the Wednesfield & Heath Town Neighbourhood Team of the West Midlands Police consists of several dedicated officers and Police Community Support Officers (PCSOs) who provide regular updates via WMnow and social media. Local Policing Team (January 2026) The team includes Inspector Stephen Edwards and Sergeants Chris Smythe and Emma Clark. PCSOs include Ian Kerrigan, Stephen O'Loughlin, Rebecca Bickmore-Green Dedicated Neighbourhood Officers are assigned to different areas, including PC Jann Sharp for Wednesfield North, PC Alysha Kaur Aujla and PC Zoe Edwards for Wednesfield South, and PC Leanne Hudson for Heath Town. PC Eleyse Lawrence is part of the Local Action Team. Recent WMnow & Updates (January 2026) Updates from the team highlight proactive enforcement and community safety. Recent activities include arrests for breaches of community orders and drug possession, the arrest of a wanted shoplifter, advisories on vehicle safety, and operations targeting nuisance off-road bikes. PCSOs have also reminded residents about obstructive pavement parking. Upcoming Community Meetings (Early 2026) Residents have opportunities to meet the team at scheduled events.
