Your local beat team have been out across the Bardon Beat this week responding to your concerns and focusing on our Beat Priorities of anti‑social behaviour (ASB), road safety, school parking patrols, speeding as well as providing a wider community reassurance. 

Here’s a full summary of what we’ve been doing:

🚨 Anti‑Social Behaviour (ASB)

Seagrave Crescent
• Officers attended reports of ASB.
• Individuals involved have been identified and added to an ongoing ECINS (ASB Report) case.

Agar Nook & Greenhill
• Multiple ASB patrols completed with no issues identified.

Greenhill 
• A Section 59 warning was issued to prevent future risk to pedestrians.

Thringstone
• ASB patrols carried out with no concerns reported.

Late‑Shift Patrols
• Reassurance patrols completed in Whitwick, Greenhill, Agar Nook, Ibstock & Thringstone.

🚸 School Patrols & Parking

Hugglescote Primary School
• Passing patrols conducted at school– traffic busy but parking lawful.
• Separate parking patrol identified a vehicle stopped on solid yellow lines.
• A TOR (Traffic Offence Report) was issued for a non‑compliant registration mark.

Ellistown Primary School
• Passing patrols completed with no issues observed.

🚛 HGV Concerns – Ellistown

• Patrols conducted around weight‑restricted routes following community concerns.
• No issues identified during checks.

🚗 Speeding Enforcement & Road Safety

Speeding Operation – Ellistown & Whitwick
• A targeted speed operation was carried out at key community‑identified locations.
• No TORs issued as all vehicles were travelling within legal speed limits.
• Speed data has been shared via our social media channels for transparency.

House‑to‑House (H2H) Enquiries – Oakham Drive & Greenhill Road
• During H2H engagement, numerous vehicles were observed travelling above the expected speed.
• These areas have now been added to our ongoing patrol plan and will continue to receive attention.
