Stolen Vehicles

Dear Resident,

Officers from the Tonbridge Community Safety Unit responded to reports of a suspicious vehicle in East Malling. On arrival, officers located the vehicle and subsequently identified two stolen vehicles linked to recent criminal activity. All vehicles have now been seized and will assist in the ongoing investigation.

Vehicle Theft Safety Advice - Help protect your vehicle by following these simple steps:

Always remove keys and lock your vehicle, even when parked on your driveway.

Ensure windows and sunroofs are fully closed before leaving your vehicle.

Park in well‑lit areas or use secure car parks where possible.

Consider using additional security devices such as steering wheel locks, wheel clamps, or tracking systems.

Avoid leaving valuables or bags visible inside the vehicle.

Keep keys away from doors and windows to reduce the risk of relay theft.

Report Suspicious Vehicles If you notice a vehicle acting suspiciously, missing number plates or driving erratically follow these steps:

999 – if a crime is in progress or there is immediate danger

101 or online – for non‑urgent reports or suspicious activity
