Warning About Fake Banknotes in the Area

The Abram Neighbourhood Policing Team would like to warn residents that counterfeit banknotes are currently circulating in our area.

If anyone asks you to change a note or accept cash, please take a moment to check that it is genuine, as some of the fake notes can be difficult to spot at first glance.

✅ Refuse suspicious cash and report concerns

If you believe you’ve been offered or received a fake note, please report it to the police as soon as possible.
