Illegal Cigarettes and Vapes |

Last week, Walsall Police received intelligence relating to the illegal sale of cigarettes and vapes.
We spoke to a male who had knowingly purchased fake cigarettes from local shops in the Walsall area. Unfortunately this male had became very unwell and needed urgent medical care due to the side effects from smoking these illegal cigarettes.
Police and trading standards conducted a joint operation less than a week later to target the stores that sold these harmful products. 2000 Cigarettes were seized in the operation and we continue to work together to target the illegal and dangerous sale of these goods.
