🚨 Community Smart Alert – Inconsiderate Parking 🚘

We have recently received a number of reports regarding vehicles being parked inconsiderately in residential areas. In several cases, vehicles have been positioned in a way that causes an obstruction to other road users, including difficulty entering or exiting junctions and reduced visibility.

To help keep everyone safe, please ensure that when parking:

Do not park within 10 metres of a junction – this helps maintain clear sight lines for drivers and pedestrians.

Avoid parking on corners, dropped kerbs, or anywhere that restricts access.

Do not block pavements – pedestrians, wheelchair users, and parents with pushchairs must be able to pass safely.

Leave enough space for emergency services – large vehicles need clear access at all times.

Be mindful of residents’ driveways and ensure they can enter and exit without difficulty.

By parking safely and considerately, you help keep the community safe and reduce the risk of accidents or enforcement action.
