Good morning Resident,
On the 21st Jan 2026 the Crime Prosecution Service (CPS) authorised the charges on 30 offences which occurred Hartshead estate , Kings Road and locations on the Ashton St Peters Ward between Dec 2025 and January 2026
Callum DANIELS, dob 14/10/1988 of No Fixed Abode was arrested on the 20th Jan by our neighbourhood crime team and was charged in relation to;
x1 - Threats with a bladed article
x2 - Theft from motor vehicles
x5 - Attempt burglaries
x6 - Burglary offences
x15 - Vehicle Interferences
Daniels was also wanted on recall to prison. He was released to Tameside Magistrates Court on 22nd Jan and was remanded as per his recall to prison and will attend Manchester Minshull Street Crown Court 26/02/26.
I want to thank everyone who has helped with the on-going investigation by reporting your crimes, and providing CCTV where possible, victim or not.
