|
Dear Resident. What has happened? Between 4am, and 5.36am on the 23rd of January 2026 an unknown offender was gained entry to a property in Wyatt Road via an insecure rear door. Once inside the property a search was conducted resulting in the removal of a set of keys to an Audi motor vehicle that was parked on the drive way. The offender has then left the property by the point of entry, and used the keys to make good their escape in the Audi. What are we doing? Officers have conducted house to house enquires, and cctv checks. A forensic examination of the scene has also been conducted to obtain any evidence that may help identify the offender. What can you do? Please ensure your property is secure, lock gates to the rear garden, check that all doors and windows are secure and locked before going out, or going to bed. If an alarm is installed set it when going out. Alarms can also be part set when going to bed to monitor down stairs access points.
