School Parking

Please refrain from parking on the zig‑zag lines outside schools.

We have received multiple complaints regarding vehicles parking on the zig‑zag markings outside St. Wilfrid’s Catholic Academy on Queens Avenue, Tunstall.

These restrictions are in place for a very important reason: to keep children safe by ensuring clear visibility and safe access around the school entrance.

Several parents have expressed their concerns to me today about the number of vehicles parking in this area. I have advised them to also report the issue to the Council’s Parking and Enforcement Team. They may deploy the CCTV enforcement vehicle and parking wardens, and anyone found parking in contravention of these restrictions may receive a fine.
