Liskeard Police have been aware of a couple of instances of Rogue traders operating in and around the area of Dobwalls. Centred on offering gardening services people are asked to pay upfront for work to be done and then that work is not being carried out. Investigations are ongoing however if you have any information or have been similarly affected please dial 101 to report this. If you have any concerns on such people offering work without invitation, then refuse to sign any documents, certainly do not give any payment across and refer the matter to Trading Standards via e-mail at tradingstandards@cornwall.gov.uk or call 0300 1234 191 |
