Warminster Neighbourhood Policing Team - update on vehicle crime

The Warminster Neighbourhood Policing Team are aware of several reports of vehicle crime in the area.

We would like to reassure the public that a suspect linked to these offences is currently in custody.

Officers will be contacting residents over the coming days to obtain statements and review CCTV footage.

Please take a moment to review your vehicle security and report any suspicious activity.

What you can do:

Lock your vehicle and check it is secure

Remove valuables, including bags, wallets, tools, and electronics

Ensure sat-navs and phone chargers are hidden from view

Park in well-lit or busy areas whenever possible

Use additional security such as a steering lock or home CCTV (doorbell cameras if applicable)

Report any suspicious behaviour, however small it may seem.
