Successful Arrest & Vehicle Recovered

Yesterday morning, your local Safer Neighbourhoods Team officers conducted a successful arrest enquiry. A male who was wanted on police systems for Failing to Appear in court in relation to Breaching a Court Order was located and safely taken into custody. He was later presented at afternoon court.

Later in the day, officers responded to a report of suspicious activity after a male was seen attempting to hide a moped behind bike shelters in a private car park. When officers arrived, the male had already left the scene. A search of the area revealed two mopeds concealed behind the shelters. It was established that one of the mopeds had been reported lost/stolen and has now been safely recovered to be returned to the owner. The second moped appeared to be abandoned on private land and will be reported and removed by housing.

Your local officers will continue their patrols today as we work to problem‑solve and tackle issues in and around the ward.
