Wanted suspected arrested and sent to court.

Hello Longlands residents,

Yesterday, PC Alex Francis, supported by his Longlands dedicated ward officers (DWO's) have hunted, found and arrested a wanted male known for drug dealing. He wasn't a Longlands resident, however was local enough to our ward to justify his search and arrest. 

As we all know, drugs get sold and distributed amongst the local area far beyond just the door step of the dealer. This act and crime also affects neighbouring area's, causing ASB, increase in crime and can also get into the hands of our youth if not stayed on top of properly and swiftly. 

Bexley has a very low drug crime rate so please do not worry and we will continue to do our best to ensure that it doesn't have a sharp increase. Local arrests like this, even just off the ward will have a positive impact on all of us who live near and help keep the issue at bay. 

I hope this brings a bit of good news into all of our busy lives.
