We're appealing for information following a burglary in Springbank Drive on 21/01/2026. A female out walking her dog has been approached by a male asking to use a telephone as he had left his in a taxi, the female took the male back to her house where he used the phone, he then left the house with the female. The female continued on her dog walk, the male has returned to the females property and let himself in telling the females husband that he had been asked to get something for the lady. The male has then stolen the females handbag containing a purse, £30 in cash and bank cards. The male is described as roughly 6ft tall, wearing a leather jacket and speaking with an English accent.
