Hello and welcome to this week’s policing update for Blakenhall!

What a week it has been…

On our first shift back we assisted our colleagues in Fire with the road closures on Upper Villiers Street, Sunbeam Street, Moore Street South, Cross Street South and surrounding areas due to the major incident factory fire that took place on the 14th January. Road closures remain on Upper Villiers Street, but other roads are accessible. 

We appreciate the patience of residents and businesses whilst the Fire worked to maintain and keep the area safe. 

PCSO Cooper-Haime and PCSO Travis carried out Cuppa with a Copper at Bob Jones Community Hub, we thank everyone who came by. Our next event will be announced in due course.
