Rick, Lee and Kerry were out providing an after-school presence today (p), along with robbery patrols, before late afternoon patrols aimed at those returning home from work (7.32 miles). The streets either side of Eastbrook School, including Felhurst Crescent, were covered from 3.15pm, followed by 1.19 miles of Central Park, via Park Drive, to deter opportunities for robbery, helped out by the rain.
With Kerry heading back to prepare for an evening with the Volunteer Police Cadets (VPC), Rick and Lee visited Rush Green's Legon (4.18pm), Horace and Philip Avenue, as well as the east side of Dagenham Road, including Lincoln Avenue (4.30pm), Rose Glen and Footpath 155 (4.51pm, p).
Harveys Lane, Great Cullings and Valentines Way were next, with Hooks Hall Drive (5.38pm, p), Park Drive, Wheel Farm Drive (7.49pm) and Tony Rawson Way (5.58pm) on the Parkside beat visited late on.
It was then back past Eastbrook School and through Felhurst Crescent. |
