Weekly Update

Dear Residents, 

PCSO Gilkes here this is a quick round up from me and the rest of the Hillfield’s neighbourhood policing team.

What`s been happening: 

We have conducted high visible patrols around your neighbourhood, aiming at the hotspots for anti-social behaviour. We have conducted joint visits, issued CPWs and CPNs.  

COMMUNITY ENGAGEMENT: 

Your local Neighbourhood team have been out and about engaging in the community.

This week we have been conducting joint visits with housing associations at locations where there have been ongoing issues. We aim to work with partners to help resolve issues. 

We have also been conducting patrols on Coronation Road where there have been numerous reports of anti-social behaviour. We have been issuing CPWs and CPNs to those that have been identified in causing issues in this location.

A CUPPA WITH COPPA event was held this week at The Gateway. This was a successful event and was great to meet new residents in the neighbourhood. We have our next CUPPA WITH COPPA event on Wednesday 28th January at The Hope Centre Vauxhall Street. We will be there from 11:00 till 12:00. We hope to see you there for a free drink and a chat. 

This week we held our monthly PACT meeting at Thomas King House Wellington Street. We took away issues that residents are facing and will be working with our partners to resolve the issues. Our next PACT meeting is on 25th March 17:00-18:00. Come along and hear about the good work your neighbourhood officers have been doing. 

Your local officers have been out engaging with your local supermarkets in the area. 

ARRESTS:

This week your local officers made some great arrests this set. Altogether there were 2 arrests made regarding known offenders causing issues within the local neighbourhood this week. 

OTHER HIGHLIGHTS OF THE WEEK:

We have been issuing more CPWs this week to those that have been identified in causing anti-social behaviour in your local neighbourhood. 

We have also been out issuing CPNs to those that have breeched their CPW. 

GREAT NEWS:

Your local neighbourhood team are looking a setting up a Street watch in Hillfields.
