Crimes reported over the past seven days. Burglary Dwelling At 8.20pm on Sunday 18 January in Elm Avenue, Hucknall, a house was entered via the front door and the key to a black Vauxhall Astra car was stolen and used to take the car which was parked outside the property. Burglary Other Nothing to Report Theft of motor vehicle Nothing to Report Theft from motor vehicle Nothing to report Theft Between 10.30am and 11.45am on Saturday 17 January in High Street, Hucknall, a black hand bag with a long handle was stolen from the back of a chair in The Salvation Army. The bag contained a mobile phone, car and house keys and a purse with cash and bank cards. Between midnight and 2.00am on Sunday 18 January in Ballers Bar, High Street, Hucknall, a small black shoulder bag with a silver clasp/buckle and ‘IS’ written all over it was stolen. The bag contained a pink iPhone, ID and car keys. Around 5.54pm on Saturday 17 January in Lilac Road, Hucknall, an Amazon parcel was stolen from a doorstep. Between 5.00pm and 8.00pm on Saturday 17 January in Cherry Avenue, Hucknall, a parcel delivery left at the side of a house was stolen. Just before 4.00pm on Sunday 18 January in Vine Terrace, Hucknall, a charcoal grey/black Cube pushbike with red stripes on the front forks was stolen from outside the Spot On snooker hall. The thief was described as- white male, late teens early 20’s, black hair with a box fringe, wearing a black coat, black joggers and black trainers. Robbery Nothing to Report Violence against Person At 3.05pm on Saturday 17 January in High Street, Hucknall, a woman passenger got out of a silver Mercedes car at some temporary traffic lights and shouted at people who had just crossed the road on foot, she then pushed one against a wall before punching him to the face. The attacker was white, approximately 50 years old, 5-07” to 5-08”, slim build, blond hair in a bun, wearing a black jacket. Criminal Damage At 9.15pm on Wednesday 14 January in Broomhill Road, Hucknall, a newly installed CCTV camera was vandalised. At 5.19pm on Wednesday 21 January outside the Bestwood Store, Bestwood Road, Hucknall, a group of 14/16 year old male teenagers, coming from the direction of the tram and heading towards Morrisons, threw something at a security camera on the shop and it stopped working. ASB At 5.22pm on Monday 19 January in Edgewood Drive, Hucknall a group of five or six male and female teenagers, 14/15 years old, were smoking drugs and playing loud music in the car park of the Edgewood Primary and Nursery School. Two were also riding e-bikes which caused problems for parents picking up children. At 11.15pm on Tuesday 20 January in Millbank Place, Bestwood Village, a report of three males in a car park area shouting loudly and revving a scooter.
