Traffic Operation Wigan Road

Officers from the Rumworth and Over Hulton and Middle Hulton Neighbourhood Team have conducted a traffic operation on Wigan Road today. During this operation over 50 vehicles were stopped using police powers. While stopped licence and insurance checks were conducted and all was in order. 

The speed gun was also utilised, and several drivers were given advice regarding their speed as they were travelling just over 30MPH. 

4 Drivers were issued TOR’s for numerous traffic offence's, 3 of which were for not wearing a seatbelt. 

Officers will continue to patrol the area and utilise their powers when necessary.
