Arrest made after 140 cannabis plants found

Dear Resident,

A cannabis grow was not what our officers were expecting to find while they were carrying out unrelated enquiries in Willow Avenue, Dogsthorpe, on Wednesday morning!

140 plants were found inside the house across three rooms, as well as growing equipment and a large amount of cash.

A woman in her 30s was arrested on suspicion of the cultivation of cannabis and production of cannabis. She has since been bailed pending further investigation.
