Theft of Moped - Bingley Road, Saltaire BD18

Dear Resident,

Sometime between 7pm on 20/01/2026 and 10.30am on 21/01/2026, a grey and black Piaggio NRG moped was stolen from an address on Bingley Road, Saltaire. The address is close to the junction with Bromley Road. The moped was fitted with a number of security devices but was removed by unknown means. 

Later in the day on 21/01/2026 a PCSO was walking on the canal side in Saltaire near Victoria road, and sighted the moped being ridden by two youths wearing balaclavas. On seeing the PCSO, they tried to turn the bike around but there was not enough room, so they abandoned the bike and ran off. The stolen moped has been recovered and the owner made aware.
