Central Forest Park

You may have noticed new signs installed in Hanley Forest Park. These are in place to remind the public of the laws relating to the use of off‑road motorbikes, quad bikes, electric bikes/scooters, or any vehicle being driven in an anti‑social manner within the area.

Under Section 59 of the Police Reform Act 2002, police officers have the power to seize vehicles that are used in a way that causes alarm, distress, or annoyance, or that are being driven carelessly or inconsiderately.
