Drugs arrest - Woodcock Street

Dear Resident,

On 18th January, officers from Wakefield Central NPT East observed what they believed to be an ongoing drugs deal involving a vehicle on Woodcock Street. Officers stopped the vehicle just outside the cemetery gates and following a search of the vehicle and driver, a quantity of drugs was located and seized. PC Denton arrested the driver on suspicion of Possession with the Intent to Supply. The driver was taken into custody where they were interviewed and released on bail pending further enquiries, with conditions not to enter the Portobello area of Wakefield.
