School Parking Patrols

School Parking Patrols – Measham 

This afternoon PC1234 Owain and PCSO6686 Maddie have been out conducting parking patrols outside Measham C of E School and Measham St Charles School both on Bosworth Road, Measham. These checks are in line with our beat priority and in place to help keep children, parents, and staff safe during the busy drop off and pick up times.

A huge thank you to the majority of parents and carers who consistently park safely and respectfully – it really does make a big difference 

Please be mindful of the following:-

• Parking on yellow zig zags

• Blocking driveways or junctions

• Stopping on pavements, forcing pedestrians into the road

• Double parking, reducing visibility for children crossing

These behaviours not only cause frustration for residents but can seriously increase the risk of an accident, especially when young children are involved.

Please help us keep the school environment safe by allowing extra time for your journey and parking legally and considerately. If you are able to walk even part of the way, this can ease congestion and improve safety for everyone 

We will be continuing these patrols and working closely with the schools to address any ongoing concerns. If you witness any dangerous or obstructive parking, you can report it to us via 101 or online.
