Fraudulent activity - Stop! Think Fraud

Hello all,

We are urging people to remain vigilant following multiple reports of counterfeit money being used in Didcot.

This involves fake £10, £20 and £50 notes being used to buy/attempt to buy items from shops, restaurants, pubs, cafès etc. 

Fraudsters will frequently try and rush you, but it is always recommended to take your time. Remember to check cash that is being used (some of the counterfeit money looks very real at a quick glance). Also, remember you CAN refuse customers payment methods without needing to explain to them reasons why. And please, continue to report suspicious activity.
