I wanted to provide you with an update regarding ASB - Environmental (When a person’s actions affect the wider environment, such as public spaces or buildings), which people around your area have highlighted as an issue of concern on the priority survey.

We have had reports recently of fires being set across the Mereside area, in public spaces such as parks and green spaces. I just wanted to provide you with an update so that you were aware of what the police are doing about it. We have been working in conjunction with local councils and schools for several months and we have been working with these young people to provide them appropriate places to spend their time and different activities for them to do. We have zero tolerance for ASB in our communities and we continuously work with other departments within Blackpool Police to respond to these incidents and make sure that offenders are dealt with accordingly.

If you have any information or concerns regarding ASB (Anti-social Behaviour) please don't hesitate to make the police aware.
