Shed and outbuilding break-in's in Ossett

We’re investigating several shed and outbuilding break‑ins on Wesley Street and Station Road in the early hours of 17–18 January. Please take a moment to check your shed security.

 Top Tips to Protect Your Shed:
• Use coach bolts on hinges and hasps – they can’t be unscrewed from outside
• Fit a closed‑shackle heavy‑duty padlock (Sold Secure recommended)
• Consider a standalone/battery sensor alarm
• Block shed windows so valuables aren’t visible
• Lock big items together to make them harder to remove
• Security‑mark your property to help get it back if stolen
